Middle School
The Middle School years are a critical time of personal growth, self-expression, and skills development. When young learners begin to formulate beliefs and opinions, establish solid foundations for future learning, and prepare to chart their course within our global society.
FASP’s Middle School program for grades 6-8 facilitates the transition between childhood and adolescence in a supportive environment that helps students stretch their cognitive abilities and reach their full potential.
With the caring support of highly qualified teachers, FASP Middle School students develop the character strengths and work ethic required to find success in top international, American, and French independent or public schools.
FASP Middle School faculty utilize a well-balanced combination of French and American teaching methods that encourage self-confidence, creativity, and mutual respect.
- Our curriculum exceeds the educational requirements of both the State of New Jersey and the French Ministry of Education.
- Subjects are taught in both English and French.
- Structured learning skills prepare students for high school and beyond.
In addition to exemplary academics, FASP nurtures the physical, psychological and emotional health of our students through a range of health and wellness support services that enhance those important areas of wellbeing.

Professor Reau, a FASP parent for the semester and visiting scholar at Princeton University, delivered an interesting workshop on Sociology to our Middle School students!
“FASP has been part of our family for 12 years. Both my daughters started in Pre-K and have spent their elementary & middle school years in this amazing environment. Both are fully bilingual and bicultural and have benefited from the loving structure and academic challenges provided by the school that has proven instrumental in raising attentive, adaptable, responsible, open-minded, curious, committed, and happy kids. Never was there a day they didn’t want to go to school. The teachers are passionate about teaching, care about the kids, and they go above and beyond for their students.”
