Accreditations

The network of French schools abroad is one of a kind: 390,000 students attend the 566 schools established in 138 countries. Accredited by the French Ministry of Education, all these schools offer an educational program that meets the curriculum and teaching standards of the public school system in France.

The purpose of this organization is to ensure excellence in education by holding schools accountable to rigorous standards and a process of continuous improvement.

NAIS is a nonprofit membership association that provides services to more than 1,700 schools and associations of schools in the United States and abroad, including 1,400 independent private K-12 schools in the U.S.

AFSA is a membership organization of elementary and secondary schools in the United States and Canada, all of which are accredited by the French Ministry of National Education. The official French curriculum taught in these schools are enriched by aspects of North American culture and educational practice, and by the mastery of English as it is spoken in the United States and Canada. AFSA’s member schools educate bilingual, bicultural students, whose academic excellence prepares them for entrance to the finest European and North American universities. There are currently 50 AFSA schools throughout the US and Canada.

NJAIS is a non-profit and voluntary membership association whose mission is to foster the educational, ethical, and professional excellence of its member schools, while safeguarding their independence.

Founded in 1998, Princeton Common Ground is a collaborative effort of the parent associations of 17 Princeton-area independent schools. Each year PCG sponsors a series of presentations (free and open to the public) featuring distinguished speakers who address contemporary educational and parenting issues.
