Board of Trustees

The Governance of the French American School of Princeton is the responsibility of the Board of Trustees, consisting of volunteer individuals with related expertise. The functions of the Board focus on three areas critical to the success of the school:

  • Hiring, evaluation and support of the Head of School to whom they delegate the authority to manage all aspects of operations
  • Implementation of the school mission and development of institutional policies
  • Fiduciary responsibility

The Board of Trustees is not involved with the daily affairs of the school, including curriculum development, hiring, and evaluation of staff and faculty members. Parents with concerns about the school or with decisions made by the administration should communicate their concerns directly to the Head of School. The Board of Trustees does not act as a board of appeals.
